Discover the vibrant ceramic work of Jill Fanshawe Kato in our hidden upstairs gallery, on view from October 3rd to November 1st.

Jill’s ceramics are inspired by the natural world and her extensive travels. Her work moves fluidly between functional forms and sculptural pieces, created through a range of hand-building and surface techniques.

She works primarily in stoneware, using slips and glazes to create decorative, expressive surfaces. Select pieces are also made using traditional raku methods.

Jill Fanshawe Kato’s ceramics have been exhibited internationally, and her work is held in numerous public and private collections.
