Pelican artists are redefining who gets to make, exhibit and lead contemporary art.

Printed Voices is a vibrant exhibition showcasing original letterpress prints created using the world's first wheelchair-powered printing press, conceived, designed and developed by Pelican artists working alongside professional printmaker George Barron and Positive Light Projects.

The exhibition brings together bold text-based prints, laser-cut relief self-portraits, documentary photography and traditional letterpress materials, exploring both the heritage and future of printmaking.

More than an exhibition of prints, Printed Voices is a celebration of creativity, authorship and community partnership. Created through collaboration and driven by the voices of Pelican artists, it demonstrates what becomes possible when barriers are removed and artists are empowered to lead. Messaging, colour and process are brought together by the artists, enabling their personal thoughts and words to be shared with audiences. Powerful, poignant and witty, these pieces are a delight.

Throughout the exhibition there will be opportunities for the public to create their own printed artwork at drop-in workshops in the gallery or Parish Hall. Some works created during these community workshops will become part of a display wall in the exhibition itself. Watch this space for times and dates.

Green Hill Arts is open 10:00am – 4:00 pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Entry is free. The gallery is located at the top of Fore Street, Moretonhampstead, near the Parish Church, with parking available in Court Street and Station Road car parks.
